My favourite makeup brand - Lily Lolo

Hello there! Long time no see! Hopefully I shall be blogging more as I now have a MacBook so i will try my hardest to post more often. As I've been gone, I have tried many products including mineral makeup! As I am someone with very oily yet dry skin I never thought mineral makeup would work on my skin, however I saw Lily Lolo's amazing shade range so I had to give it a whirl!!
As an EXTREMELY pale girl, not even the lightest shades of foundation and concealer from the likes of Mac and Estee Lauder come close to my colour, so I use white foundation to mix with it, which is both time and money consuming so this seemed to be a better option.

If you aren't aware of Lily Lolo, I would compare it to Bare Minerals, but half the price with double the shade range. Seriously, the shade range is incredible, for both ends of the scale. Also the price range is very satisfying as their mineral foundation is 13.99 pounds (sorry my pound sign isn't working!) This product is amazing!! If you don't like the feel of makeup then this may be for you! You cannot feel it at all on your face but still get a flawless yet natural look. It has SPF 15 and is water resistant, oil free, vegan friendly and anti bacterial so what's not to like? Normally I'm reluctant to get mineral foundation as it just seems so messy! But this one has a cover on with little holes so you can shake the product onto the lid and when you're done simply twist the cover and the holes are sealed, genius! I use the lightest shade porcelain which is still a tad dark but is completely wearable! What I also love about this brand is that most of their products come in a sample size at around 1 pound so you get to test it first!

Another lovely product of theirs is the mineral concealer which is 8.49 pounds and the colour is insane! I use the shade blondie and it is so pale! The coverage is also very pigmented but still has that no-makeup feel to it. It isn't cakey and doesn't show up dry patches, it is just smooth and flawless. It has the same sifter and is also vegan and has Kaolin which is a clay based mineral which gives it the amazing coverage and long lasting wear.

The lasting wear on both products together is around 10 hours with my super oily skin. I do use the urban decay setting spray and blott once halfway through the day which is less than i have to do with my Estee Lauder double wear with the price tag of 32 pounds! I also bought the super kabuki brush from Lily Lolo which is honestly the best brush i have ever used. It was 14.99 and its so soft! It applies the foundation beautifully, with even coverage as it is so easy to blend out. Applying the foundation and concealer takes around 2 minutes as it is so easy! It is great for using if you need to run out of the door but it is still amazing for every day use with its exceptional coverage.

All in all these products are amazing and I would highly recommend them for any age or skin type and they cater for all! I am very excited to try more of these products and I shall keep you updated on how they are!

Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts

Hello!! Long time no see ;) so I have been away for a while... But I'm back!! And hopefully for good!! So today I will be sharing with you my opinions of Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts...
This makeup line stuck out to me because it is taloured for people with pale skin, I'm one of those people! I have milk bottle skin so it is a pain for me to find foundations and concealers which will fit me perfectly, and I have to say these do in the shade 001, which is the lightest. Of course I was over the moon by how light these products were but there are pros and cons. I do LOVE it a lot!! It is light weight which is great for me as my skin has improved, comment of you'd like to see why, and it's summer so you don't want to pile layers onto your skin because you are hot enough! Also, I really like the packaging because it's classy but simple and there's a pump which is fabulous!! The concealer is a clicky pen which I thought I wouldn't like but as you get used to it, it's really good for controlling the amount of product you desire. The foundation blends beautifully and it doesn't break me out either and it has SPF 18!!
Sorry, but it's time for the few cons... Firstly it's VERY pricey. The foundation normally costs £20-£30 and it is extremely hard to get hold of. Also, there isn't a lot of coverage which will be bad for some people.
But other than that this range is wonderful for pale skin colours and they also do eyeliner, blusher, lipstick and many more so it's worth a look. I've found the most of these on Amazon and they have offers a lot of the time!!

Revlon Colour Stay Foundation

Hello! Today I will be reviewing the revlon colour stay foundation, and I love it! My skin is very oily and this works a treat! Also they have the same foundation for dry skin which I think is amazing that they have that option so that they don't leave you out. I bought this a while back at boots for £12.99 and I haven't used anything else since. It applies beautifully and you can build it up to full coverage, but the only downside is that there isn't a pump, please fix that! Anyway, it doesn't make me look like a shiny disco ball and also, the lightest shade is the lightest that I have found in the drugstore! But its still a tad to dark for me but I am very pale because I'm a ginger, fun fact there for you :).
Overall this is an amazing product that doesn't break the bank but it is an amazing product that I'm sure I will be buying again because it just amazing!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

Hello! I've been away for a very long time... I'm sorry but I've had lots of school work and medical things as well. I'll try to be better and post more but I'm sorry if I don't do a lot :)

Anyway let's get on with the review! You've probably heard of Liz Earle many times and their multi award winning cleanse and polish and I've finally bought one for around the £14 mark for 100ml and two muslin cloths but I also got a 30ml tube and a muslin cloth for free, yay!
I cannot rave about this product enough. Its amazing!! I have very sensitive skin and this works a treat at removing all makeup and after I've used it my skin feels baby soft and it moisturises my skin beautifully. The muslin cloth is super soft and its a nice gentle exfoliator. What I love about this product is that it doesn't get everywhere, you put it on dry skin and wash it off with a hot muslin cloth.

I love this a lot and I will definatly be trying more Liz Earle products soon. Thank you for reading!!x

I now have an instagram where I'll show things that I'm loving and I'll follow you back :) its called lishaablog

What is British school really like?

Hello!! Sorry I've been away for a while but I've had an English GCSE to get out of the way but I'm back now!!
A week or so ago, and girl called Cindy from America emailed me asking what school in Britain was really like so I thought I'd do a blog post about it!
My school is in the north west of England and its a catholic school. We do wear a uniform :( but it's not so bad, just a pleated skirt, white blouse, tie and navy blazer. The subjects that we do are English, maths, French, German, science, history, geography, art, drama, food tech , wood tech, ICT, textiles, pe and religion. At year 10 you choose your gcse options but you have to keep core subjects. I do like school but we've recently had a new head teacher that's really strict and he has even banned christmas activities!! Dont worry, we've got a petition to get them back aha :) One thing that really annoys me about my school is that we don't have lockers!! Hopefully they will change that!
Overall, school isn't so bad but they really need to get rid of homework!
If you'd like me to do more blog posts about school type of things then say and I will. Thanks for reading!! :)
