What is British school really like?

Hello!! Sorry I've been away for a while but I've had an English GCSE to get out of the way but I'm back now!!
A week or so ago, and girl called Cindy from America emailed me asking what school in Britain was really like so I thought I'd do a blog post about it!
My school is in the north west of England and its a catholic school. We do wear a uniform :( but it's not so bad, just a pleated skirt, white blouse, tie and navy blazer. The subjects that we do are English, maths, French, German, science, history, geography, art, drama, food tech , wood tech, ICT, textiles, pe and religion. At year 10 you choose your gcse options but you have to keep core subjects. I do like school but we've recently had a new head teacher that's really strict and he has even banned christmas activities!! Dont worry, we've got a petition to get them back aha :) One thing that really annoys me about my school is that we don't have lockers!! Hopefully they will change that!
Overall, school isn't so bad but they really need to get rid of homework!
If you'd like me to do more blog posts about school type of things then say and I will. Thanks for reading!! :)

Halloween

Yes, this weeks #BritishBloggerSelection is Halloween! I thought that my blog post could be my favourite Halloween costumes done by youtubers this year!

I thought I'd start off with the lovely Zoe Sugg, aka Zoella, and her boyfriend Alfie Deyes, aka Pointlessblog.

Zoe was a 'cat skeleton' and Alfie was a vampire. Zoe looked amazing!! She wore black contact lenses, cat ears and a skeleton dress and all of her costume was from asda. Don't you just wish you could look like Zoe!!

Alfie's costume was from asda but it didn't fit, so he improvised with a cut white top with blood on, white and black face paint, fake teeth and white hair spray.

They both looked amazing!!

I had to add the fangirl himself, Tyler Oakley. He's dressed as Perrie Edwards from Little Mix. Tyler's on the right , I know its hard to tell. He looks BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm not sure where he got his outfit from sorry!  I think we can all agree that he is the prettiest girl we've ever seen! ;)

If you'd like to be part of #BritishBloggerSelection then contact Ellie at http://littlevintagecamera.blogspot.co.uk with your blog URL, blog name and first and last name!

                                      Freederm

I'm not going to lie, my skin isn't perfect. Its very oily and I have quite bad spots that take forever to go away! If your like me and you've tried everything to get rid of them, you must be sick and tired of having spots and you want them to go, have you tried freederm?

Freederm is a brand of skincare aimed for people with acne or spots and it claims to get rid of them. I bought these three products from freederm and they were quite pricey but I got them when they were on a half price sale because I've wanted to try them out for a long time. From the left, I bought a fast track spot treatment, a facial cleanser and a sensitive facial wash.

These are all £5-£9 and personally I think that they are very worth the money!! I can't say that they have completely cleared up my spots but it has made a HUGE difference. I'd say half my spots have gone and my skin glows, and it never did that.

I really think that they are worth the money and if you've tried everything then I'd definatly give these a whirl and see what you think of them. Thankyou for reading!!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

Im abit late but im jumping on the band wagon and I agree this concealer is AMAZING! Its the best I've ever tried! And its only £3.99 at superdrug or boots. Its got full coverage and it last all day. I have really oily skin and this doesn't budge all day long. I use the shade fair and it is the lightest shade concealer I've found, so your imperfections arnt covered with an orange ring if your fair toned, like me.
All in all this is perfect if you have percistant spots that won't go away and its cheap too.

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

If you want a lightweight foundation that gives good coverage then this is for you! I love this for when I'm having my netter skin , but I have to say it doesn't give a huge amount of coverage so I don't tend to use it often because my skin has lots of nasties on it! Also, it doesn't match my skin colour. This is the one I have, 100 ivory, but I'm SUPER pale and I wish that there were lighter colours and that it was less yellow-toned. Many foundations are like this but my favourite is the Max Factor CC Cream, and I have done a review on that if you would like to check that out.

So overall, this foundation is great for the price, which is around £7 ish, and I would recommend this for any one that wants light coverage and its great for summer!

The first product is a facial spray from an atomics. It hydrates your face and sets your makeup. Its amazing I really like the lavender and peppermint, its so refreshing! Its £6 for 100ml.

The second product is a 30 SPF moisturiser from Coola. I love it, its not greasy and it really works. Its £25.99 for 50ml.

The fourth product is a texture must from Alterna Haircare. I love this stuff it really makes your hair into beachy waves which I love as a summer look. Its £23 for 125ml.

The final product is a pout paint by sleek. By mistake I got 2 which is very lucky. I got the colours lava and pinkini. I'm not a lip stain person but I'll give these a whirl and see if I like them. They are £4.99 for 8ml.

June Glossy box 2013

This is my third glossy box and I love it!! If you don't know what glossy box is , its a subscription service so you get 5 high end beauty samples or full sizes for £10 a month plus p&p. As I said its my third one but I'm going to get a years subscription.
In this glossy box is.....
A nuxe multi purpose oil for hair, body and face. It is 100ml for £34 and I do really like it but I wouldnt pay £34 for 100ml.
A John Frieda frizz ease serum. I love this! I was going to buy one the other day but now I have one!! I love this , its amazing and it doesn't make your hair greasy. I have thick, frizzy, curly hair and this makes my hair not frizzy and soft.  Its amazing!! 50ml is £6.29 and I will buy this when mine has run out.
A mememe nail gloss. I love this! Its easy to apply and doesn't chip easily. Its £5 for the full size.
A figs and rouge lip balm. This lip balm is 100% natural! Its tinted and it gives lots of moisture to your lips. I really like it! Its £5 for 12.5ml and I would probably pay that for this.
A Q body spray. I love this scent! Its fresh and it says ' a floral harmony of iris and mimosa ' it does last a couple of hours which is very good for a body spray. Its £2.29 for 100 ml which is great and I will be repurchasing this.
All in all I love glossy box.
This box came to around £20 and I only paid £10 for it.

Johnonson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion.

I love this gradual tanner!! I love this so much because it tans and moisturises in one! My shade is fair to medium and I find it makes me more tanned in just one use. There are no streaks or darker patches, its all even. Also I have very sensitive skin and its perfect. I'm ginger so I'm very pale and I can't use fake tan because its too different to my natural skin but this is natural and I love it! I bought mine from super drug for £3 and I highly recommend this!! Xxxx

 Max Factors CC Cream

I really like this Max factor cc cream. Its creamy and gives a really good coverage and its also build able. I have it in the shade 40 fair, the far left on the picture, and it was £9.99 from super drug. Its great for the summer because its light weight but you still get coverage and its also got 15 SPF!
I really recommend this product and I hope you like
it! Byee :)

real technique core collection brushes

I LOVE these brushes. They are soft and easy to use. They apply powder, cream , mineral and liquid makeup with no streaks and its even all over your face. I recently bought these at super drug for £20.99 which is very reasonable for 4 amazing high quality brushes. There is a foundation brush, concealer brush, contour or blush brush and a powder brush. You can buy these at the real techniques website or drug stores such as boots and super drug. I really recommend these brushes and I will be buying more such as the expert face brush. Byeee :)
